Affirmations and Meditations Give You Control Over Your Life

The wise Dhammapada, Lal stated...

"We are what we think, having become what we thought."

The power of these words defies description, but I will endeavor to offer insight into how you can objectively apply this powerful principle in your life to greatly gain from it's profound meaning. Perhaps you believe in the law of attraction, perhaps you do not. One thing is certain; you are the sum of your thoughts and your actions.

Anything that you do repeatedly becomes a part of you.

Practice for a moment... Allow yourself to think negatively for one minute, find a flaw in yourself and make it your focus. As you do this, notice the slight shifts that begin to take place. Intensify this thought for just a moment. Notice as the unpleasant sensation in your body grows...

Now, dismiss the negative though, and allow yourself to remember something you are proud of, anything that brings you joy, any accomplishment, and notice the shifts that begin to take place. Intensify this thought for just a moment. Notice the energy it gives you, notice the strength you feel, and appreciate the confidence you are feeling.

Friend, your mind holds great power. Your mind commands your brain, the brain influences your body. This truth gives you the power to control your entire life!

Sometimes our thoughts get away from us. We accidentally or intentionally think negatively. When we do this, the shifts that take place in us act like the bars of a prison. Once they have slammed shut, we are lost in these darker thoughts, emotions, and often forget hope.

Your mind will honor your wishes. If you leave it to itself, chances are it will stumble into some negative line of thinking. This world you and I live in hands us so much negativity to choose from.

Here in lies the power of Meditations and Affirmations...

Should you choose to focus your mind on powerful and positive words, they will grow within you, they will strengthen you, and they will help to guide your thoughts into creativity, hope, and joy.

When do you solve the most problems, when you're not creative or when you ARE creative? When are you more successful, when you do not feel hope or when you DO feel hope? When do people enjoy your company, when you feel no joy or when you ARE joyful?

Meditations and Affirmations are conscious ways of guiding and directing your thoughts. They plant the seeds of positivity in your mind and grow into desired outcomes.

- If you think about good things, you will feel good. - If you think about your goals, you will realize them. - If you think kindly about others, they will show kindness to you. - If you think about how amazing you are, your confidence will grow. - If you guide your thoughts, you decide your future...

I wish you well my friend. Know that you have the power to shape your future and control your destiny. It begins with your thoughts. Your thoughts should begin with a affirmation and meditation.

What is Duodenal Ulcer and How to Diagnose?

The condition referred to as Duodenal Ulcer is one that typically announces itself as a sharp, severe pain in the upper part of the abdomen (the Epigastrium), appearing when a person is hungry and the stomach is empty. Essentially, duodenal ulcers are caused by too much acid in the stomach; when the acid proves too strong for the protective inner lining of the duodenum (the part where the stomach joins the small intestine), it starts, in effect, burning a hole in the stomach wall. It is this crater, or ulcer, which results in pain, particularly when there is no food inside the stomach to use up the acid that is being produced. Patients who develop duodenal ulcers usually tend to get relief from their pain by taking some milk, bland food or antacid tablets (like milk of magnesia), which can neutralize the excess acid. The danger of duodenal ulcers is that they erode the stomach wall - either perforating (so that the contents of the stomach leak out into the abdominal cavity) or erod
