It is no secret that exercise is important for a healthy functioning body. What is equally unsurprising is that the brain needs daily exercise as well in order to carry out its functions successfully. By stretching your mind and giving it problems to solve you can keep it in good shape. There are some activities to exercise your brain.

If there was only a game that asks you 30 to 50 questions that you had the answer before you successfully completed it. If only this game was difficult enough to the point where you would have to pass on most of the questions first time around forcing your short-term memory to store several of them in there at once. And, if only this game was also fun to play. Well, you are in luck. This powerful memory strengthening game does exist. It's called the crossword puzzle. Get a book of crossword puzzles that also contains several beginner level puzzles. If you're not used to playing crossword puzzles, you're going to want some encouragement by being able to complete successfully the first several puzzles that you do. Don't start off with the New York Times daily crossword puzzle. That one will be to difficult and frustrating.

Crossword puzzles are verbal games. So, let's bring in a numbers game to give you brain and even better workout. That game is sudoku. It's similar to crossword puzzles in that as you complete one you will be keeping a lot of information in your short-term memory to help you. That's powerful exercise. Again like with crossword puzzles, be sure to start out with begin a level sudoku puzzles so that you can have the satisfaction of completing a few.

Like exercise you are going to get the best results if you work at this everyday. Start doing one begin a sudoku puzzle and one begin a crossword puzzle each day until they are no longer challenging. Then, you can move on to more difficult and challenging puzzles.

The condition referred to as Duodenal Ulcer is one that typically announces itself as a sharp, severe pain in the upper part of the abdomen (the Epigastrium), appearing when a person is hungry and the stomach is empty.
